DIY lip plumper

who doesn't want fuller and plump lips.. but sadly with age our lips tend to shrink, I have been trying this recipe for some time now, and it seems to be working just fine for me, so I thought i'll share this little secret with you guys. If you want Angelina Jolie lips..this is not for you..browse for lip augmentation or enhancement. But if you want some natural way to get plumper and fuller lips, this recipe is all you need!! All the expensive lips plumpers in the market have cinnamon oil in them, so why spend so much money, when you can make one at home for less. Cinnamon oil stimulates the blood flow, hence the lips appear fuller. so, lets get to the business... you only need 2 things for this:

DIY coffee table

I had made 2 side tables earlier this year ( will upload the tutorial later) for my lounge room, But I wasn't really sure about keeping a coffee table in the room, since it's not that big, I wanted something small and light, And my DD spends most of her day in that room, I wanted something child friendly, light in weight, no hard corners...., I thought about using a soft furnished ottoman as a table, but I already have 2 ottoman as a side seats for the room plus a huge sofa, So the dilemma continued, until one day strolling across my local hardware store I saw building foam sheets, light in weight, not too hard not too soft..I literally had a light bulb moment, and the idea of making a coffee table came into being!

Urban chic in monochrome

I have been swooning over Raquel Allegra's tee's for sometime now. This LA based designer is famous for her deconstructed jersey and urban chic style, supported by a lot of fashionistas and celebrities. Once you find your first piece you will know why are people so hooked on this designer label. If you hear tie-dyes and shredded tee shirt, you'd imagine something very hippie and casual. Well it's not your conventional causal shirt, there are so many ways to wear it...dress it up... layer it, it is a one piece you want to have in your wardrobe for sure. I am posting two looks below, one is sporty casual, other very chic and feminine for a dinner date or a party (yes.. I am on a mission on keeping my wardrobe minimal to black, white and grey..for sometime)

DIY Dip Dyed Stool

Dip dyed furniture is probably a new take on last year's ombre technique, if you like clean lines with a dash of colour, this trend is definitely for you!

The Lust List

Long Black Dress

I have an endless amount of photos on my phone of things that I am obsessed with, most of them are ridiculously expensive..sighs..(yes it make me sad), and I thought I can share my sorrow with you guys in the form of lust list. Although I will try my best to find and mention reasonable options for you guys.

Z's1st birthday party

Still can't believe she is already one, it seems like yesterday when she was born, anyhow back to the post.. I wasn't sure if I wanted to celebrate her first birthday, I kept on thinking she is not going to remember it so what's the point of it all, but after sometime I came to a realisation that she will ask me about it later. Even then I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I asked my husband if he had any ideas, but he was more excited about an upcoming overseas trip we had planned for a month before Z's first birthday (a family reunion for his cousin's wedding...hence the excitement). So we finally decided to celebrate Z's 1st birthday on our way back to Sydney. And it was a big party (sadly i still missed out on inviting some dear friends :( ...) once we agreed on the date and venue there wasn't much time left for decor planning, but I managed to do as much I could within 2 weeks. It was definitely an exhausting and exciting experience. I told myself, I am not going to do it again, but now that I think about it, it was really fun planning it even in such a short time.
